Report: Long-range Iranian radar system now operational

"Ghadir," the Iranian long-range radar system capable of detecting air targets within a range of 1,100 k.m, is now operation, the FARS news agency reported Wednesday.

According to the report, Ghadir can detect aircraft, missiles and satellites in low orbit, up to an altitude of 300 k.m.
