Report: Mubarak's health is deteriorating

Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak's condition deteriorated significantly in the past week, Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai reported Sunday, adding that he has drifted in and out of a comatose state for the past two days.
According to the report, although the former Egyptian president's colon cancer metastasized and spread to other bodily organs, his doctors consider him to be too weak to undergo chemotherapy. Instead, Mubarak is expected to undergo surgery.
Mubarak's condition is so bad that he is not physically able to stand trial on charges of fraud and ordering the killing of demonstrators in the revolution which overthrew his regime this winter, Al-Rai reported.
