Report: PM refuses to appear before Mofaz's committee

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu refuses to testify before the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee as long as MK Shaul Mofaz (Kadima) is chairman, Channel 10 reported on Sunday.
According to the report, which neither Mofaz's nor Netanyahu's spokespeople would confirm, the prime minister refuses to appear in the Kadima leadership candidate's committee because of his "irresponsible and vengeful" behavior.
Two weeks ago, Mofaz cut a committee meeting short after one of Netanyahu's spokesmen released inaccurate information from the discussion, and called a press conference in which he said "the citizens of Israel should know that their prime minister is a liar."
The following day, Mofaz said that he would not allow Netanyahu's media advisers to attend Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, which are closed to the press.
