Report: Romney says under Obama, Iran will become nuclear

Iran will obtain nuclear weapons is US President Barack Obama is re-elected for a second term, Republican candidate Mitt Romney said Sunday, AFP reported.
"It's pretty straightforward in my view. If Barack Obama is re-elected, Iran will have a nuclear weapon and the world will change if that's the case," Romney said during a campaign stop in  in Snellville, according to the report.
"This is a president who has failed to put into place crippling sanctions against Iran. And that it's unacceptable to America for Iran to have a nuclear weapon," AFP quoted him as saying to some 2,000 supporters.
His comments came hours after Obama addressed the AIPAC conference, where he stressed that he opposed containment on Iran and could use military force if necessary to stop it from acquiring nuclear weapons, but said there was still time for diplomacy to work.
Romney criticized Obama's stance on Iran, saying that he had failed to communicated that military options were on the table. According to AFP, the presidential hopeful asserted that if he were president, "I will have those military options, I will take those crippling sanction and put them in place."
