Report: Syria negotiating Arab League observers mission

Syria is continuing to negotiate an Arab League request to send observers to the embattled country as part of its initiative to end violence there, according to a "Syrian source" speaking with Hezbollah-affiliate Al Manar Sunday.
According to the source, Damascus would agree to the observers' mission were the Arab League to approve some amendments to the plan, despite the Arab League having rejected Syrian amendments to their mission previously. The source failed to outline what the Syrian amendments are.
The Arab League gave Syria a Sunday deadline to respond to the body's plan, which includes the observers mission but also includes requirements for the government in Damascus to halt violence.
At least six people were killed in Syria on Sunday.
The UN says at least 4,500 people have been killed throughout the nine-months long crackdown against anti-regime protesters, and Syria has claimed at least 1,100 military and security forces have died in the ongoing violence.
