Report: Turkey warns Iran over terror threat on Israelis

Turkey warned Iran on Wednesday not to engage in acts of terrorism against Israelis or Jewish targets in Turkish territory, Army Radio reported according to Turkish newspaper Zaman, a day after Israel warned its citizens not to travel to Turkey over a terror threat in the country.
The Jerusalem Post was unable to verify this report.
The National Security Council's counterterrorism bureau on Tuesday said Tuesday that terrorists elements were planning an attack against "Israeli/Jewish targets in Turkey in the coming days."
While the National Security Council did not mention Iran as the likely culprit, a report surfaced last week in Turkish media that the Mosssad had warned Ankara of a plot by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force to attack Israeli targets in Turkey.
