Report: Turkey's pro-Kurdish group to boycott Parliament

DIYARBAKIR, Turkey - Turkey's pro-Kurdish BDP party decided on Thursday that all its candidates elected in a June 12 vote will boycott parliament, CNN Turk news channel reported.
The move that could trigger by-elections and raise tensions in the Kurdish southeast.
The Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) announced its decision after the election board on Tuesday stripped a Kurdish deputy of his newly won seat in parliament because of a prior conviction on a charge of spreading terrorist propaganda. The BDP candidates had won 36 seats.
