A compromise was reached in a disagreement at Intel-Israel's Jerusalem plant, according to Wednesday reports. The apparent deal came after large crowds of haredim protested at the Har Hotzvim plant on Saturday, against operations continuing over Shabbat.
According to the agreement, only 60 workers will be required to work on Saturday, and all will be non-Jews.
Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin reportedly gave the proposal to United Torah Judaism Uri Makelev, who was expected to respond shortly.
