Rocket blasts off with 2 Russians, 1 American

The European Court of Human Rights has called on Russia not to extradite a former IDF colonel to Colombia, where he has been convicted in absentia of training paramilitary groups and drug militias.
The court on Thursday accepted Yair Klein’s petition that he would be murdered in jail should he be sent to the South American country. Colombian Vice President Francisco Santos Calderon has been quoted as saying he hoped Klein will "rot in jail for the damage he's caused Colombia."
Klein was arrested at the airport in Moscow in August 2007 after trying to get out of the country on a forged passport.
On March 12, the Moscow City Court rejected Klein's appeal against the prosecution's decision to extradite him.
He is meant to be released from prison in Russia in just three month’s time.
