Romanian PM declares opposition to Palestinian state bid

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday met with his Romanian counterpart Emil Boc in Bucharest, who said that he opposes a unilateral declaration of statehood.
"Romania believes in a two-state solution reached through negotiations, not through unilateral Palestinian actions," Boc said following his meeting with Netanyahu.
Netanyahu also discussed Israel's relations with Turkey, telling Boc that "we want good relations with Turkey, we are not the ones who downgraded the relations." The prime minister stated that there were no concrete steps taken to repair the relations between the countries but that Israel had positively viewed the fact that Turkey was not taking part in the new Gaza flotilla expected to attempt to break the naval blockade of the territory.
