Romanian PM to Netanyahu: We will remain strong partners

Romania will remain a strong partner and will continue cooperating with Israel, Israel Radio reported Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc as saying Wednesday. Netanyahu left for Romania earlier Wednesday morning as part of a rare visit to the country and Bulgaria, and was scheduled to meet with Romanian Prime Minister Traian Basescu Wednesday evening.
Netanyahu, meeting with the Romanian prime minister in Bucharest, invited his counterpart to come visit Israel soon.
The prime minister was, amongst other issues, visiting Romania and Bulgaria in order to seek support against the unilateral Palestinian state recognition bid at the UN scheduled for this September.
