Romney leading Santorum in Illinois primary, exit polls say

CHICAGO - Exit polls showed Mitt Romney was leading Rick Santorum 45 percent to 35 percent in the Illinois Republican presidential primary on Tuesday, CNN said.
Shortly after polls closed in Illinois, CNN and other television networks said the race was too early to call. But CNN said exit polls showed Romney 10 percentage points ahead.
