Romney: Obama placing 'daylight' between US, Israel

US Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Monday repeated his claim that US President Barack Obama was trying to place "daylight" between the US and Israel.
In a major foreign policy speech, titled "The Mantle of Leadership", in Lexington, Virginia, Romney said Obama "explicitly stated that his goal was to place daylight between US and Israel. This is a dangerous situation that has set back peace in the middle east and emboldened our enemies."
Romney also warned that Iran is "closer than ever to nuclear weapons capability."
