Rose Pizem's killers sentenced to life

Rose Pizem's mother and grandfather were sentenced on Monday to life imprisonment for her murder. The court originally sentenced both to a life sentence in mid-May, but agreed to stay the decision until Monday to hear arguments for leniency.
The Petah Tikvah District Court convicted Roni Ron in May of murdering his three-and-a half-year-old granddaughter, Rose Pizem, and convicted the girl's mother, Ron's lover, of soliciting the murder.
Rose went missing in 2008 and was found shortly thereafter in a suitcase at the bottom of the Yarkon River.
