S. Korea, Japan continue hard line on N. Korea

SEOUL, South Korea — The top diplomats of South Korea and Japan on Saturday were continuing their hard line on North Korea's push for aid-for-nuclear-disarmament talks.
South Korean Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan said after talks in Seoul with his Japanese counterpart, Seiji Maehara, that the North must demonstrate its "true commitment" to abandoning its nuclear programs before stalled talks resume.
He called for actions from Pyongyang that show its good faith on disarmament, but didn't elaborate.
