Sarkozy imparts 'sincerest condolences' to PM in letter

French President Nicolas Sarkozy wrote a letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu expressing his "sincerest condolences" over the murder of four French Jews in Toulouse on Monday.
"Like all the citizens of France and all the citizens of Israel, I was shocked and outraged when I was informed this morning of the murder of four people, among them three children, at the Ozar Hatorah school in Toulouse," Sarkozy wrote.
Noting that some of the victims were also Israeli citizens, Sarkozy wrote "to impart to you and the entire nation of Israel my sincerest condolences."
He also promised to arrest the "despicable" criminal behind the attacks and use the fullest extent of the law to punish his "cruelty."
Sarkozy visited the scene of the crime and participated in a memorial ceremony at a Paris synagogue, where he expressed his strong will not to allow such a crime go unpunished.
