Sarkozy says more sanctions on Iran to come

DEAUVILLE, France - French President Nicolas Sarkozy said on Friday new sanctions would be taken against Iran, accusing it of taking advantage of the Arab Spring to press ahead with its nuclear program.
Speaking at the closing news conference of a Group of Eight summit in northern France, Sarkozy said the leaders had determined that Iran had used the uprisings in the Arab world to continue what Western countries believe is a program to develop nuclear weapons.
"We shall take new measures to reinforce again sanctions against it," Sarkozy said.
