'Senior police officers not chosen for US delegation'

Senior police officers complained Tuesday that Israel Police Inspector-General Dudi Cohen chose officers close to him to join a police delegation headed to the US, instead of allowing district chiefs to select their most exemplary senior officers to participate, as has been the custom in the past years, Israel Radio reported.
According to the report, every two years 14 senior Israeli police officers travel to the state of Georgia in the US for a continuing education program.
In response to the report, the police said that the inspector-general has the full right to choose who participates in the delegation.
