Shaffir says she will seek Knesset seat under Labor party

Social Justice leader Stav Shaffir announced Friday evening that she will seek a seat in the next Knesset under the Labor party list.

In a posting on Facebook, Shaffir wrote "the responsibility that we took upon ourselves last summer (during the social justice protests) must expand beyond the street."

Within two hours of her posting, more than 600 people had "liked" her announcement, and the the message garnered over 170 comments, most of them congratulating her on her decision and expressing support for her in her new political career.
