Shamir: Israel should talk with Arab nations for PA peace

Yair Shamir said on Saturday that in order to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Jerusalem must negotiate with the other Arab countries as well, according to Israel Radio.
Speaking at a cultural event in Beersheba, Shamir, who is the son of former prime minister Yitzhak Shamir and is currently running for a Knesset seat with Yisrael Beytenu, asserted that the Palestinians are viewed in the world as less important and so, in order to reach an agreement with them, negotiations ought to include other Arab states in the region.
