Shas: National priorities map doesn't support Gush Katif evacuees

Shas is considering voting against the revised national priorities map that was released last Wednesday, according to Israel Radio, as it fails to support Gush Katif evacuees. Sources in the party were quoted as saying that while the map backs periphery communities, it excludes those who were evacuated from Gaza settlements in 2005. Shas has previously said that it will oppose the map unless alternative support is offered to evacuees.
