Shekel stronger against dollar, euro jumps

The shekel exchange rate was down 0.51% against the dollar on Thursday in inter-bank trading at NIS 3.407/$, but the euro rose sharply by 0.95% to NIS 4.989/€.
The shekel-dollar exchange rate remains close to a 30 month low.
On global markets, the major currencies were stable with the dollar fractionally weaker against the euro at $1.457/€.
