Shekel weakens further against dollar

The shekel weakened for the second day against the dollar in morning inter-bank trading today, after yesterday afternoon's terrorist bombing in Jerusalem, which highlighted Israel's risk premium. The shekel-dollar exchange rate is up 0.34% to NIS 3.548/$, but the shekel-euro exchange rate again fell below NIS 5.00/€, falling 0.28% to NIS 4.992/€.
In international markets, the dollar-euro exchange rate has dropped to $1.407/€ from over $1.42/€ two days ago.
