Shots were fired on Friday evening at a Border Police patrol jeep near Giv'on Hahadasha, a settlement northwest of Jerusalem.
No one was hurt.
The jeep had been patrolling an area that is under IDF jurisdiction, and not that of the Palestinian Authority.
Police were investigating the incident and conducting a search for the perpetrators.
