Small groups block roads following passage of housing law

Protests broke out in various points around the country following the passage of the Housing Committee Bill in the Knesset Wednesday afternoon. In Tel Aviv, protesters blocked Rothschild Boulevard for a short time and a group of students blocked the intersection of Yehuda Halevi and Ibn Gviron for about 20 minutes. The students brought a tent with them and erected it in the middle of the intersection. No arrests were made.
In Beersheba, four students were arrested for blocking the entrance to the city following the law's passage. A similar protest took place in Kiryat Shmona.
