Social protest leaders plan a move from streets to Knesset

Several leaders of the social justice movement that peaked with mass protests last summer, were in negotiations surrounding joining a new party that would collaborate with the Pensioners' Party, Army Radio reported Wednesday morning.
Among the activists reportedly involved in the negotiations were former prime minister Ehud Olmer's nephew Yair and former IDF spokesman Efraim Lapid. Well known activists from the summer movement Dafni Leef and Stav Shafir said they would not take part in the initiative.
