Southeast Australia set for another week of floods

MELBOURNE, Australia — Australia's deadly flood crisis is forcing more people to flee their homes as a vast area of muddy water spreads further across the country's southeast on Monday.
Record rains have already left huge parts of the northeast state of Queensland under water, killing 30 people and damaging or destroying 30,000 homes and businesses.
The flood disaster is now moving across southeast Victoria state.
On Monday, some residents of the small Victorian community of Murrabit West were urged to evacuate as water from the Murray River began spilling over the levees protecting the township. The few hundred residents of three nearby communities were evacuated on Sunday.
