Strauss-Kahn court date postponed

NEW YORK - The next scheduled court date in the sexual assault case against former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn has been postponed to Aug. 1 from July 18, lawyers for both prosecution and defense said on Monday.
Defense lawyers said in a statement they hoped the charge would be dropped. Prosecutors with the Manhattan District Attorney's office said in a separate statement the investigation was continuing and no decisions have been made.
