Striking workers add new strength to Egypt protests

Anti-government protests in Egypt gained new strength Thursday as thousands of workers walked out of their places of work and joined protesters in Cairo's Tahrir Square.
As protests calling for the ouster of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak entered their 17th day, thousands of doctors and lawyers entered a second day of strikes to show solidarity with the anti-government protesters.
