Supreme Court rejects request to delay Katsav appeal

The Supreme Court on Monday rejected a request filed by the legal team of former president Moshe Katsav asking that his appeal be delayed in order to not interfere with their vacation plans in August.
In their rejection, the court wrote: "With all due respect to the defense [team's] desire to go on vacation during the court's summer recess," that desire does not overshadow the need to hold the former president's appeal hearing within a short period of time.
