Swiss arrest man linked to German neo-Nazi cell

ZURICH - Swiss police have arrested a man on suspicion of helping a neo-Nazi cell believed to be behind a string of murders and other attacks in Germany.
Michael Fichter, spokesman for the Bern cantonal police, said the man, a Swiss national, had been detained at Zurich airport on Tuesday on his return from a foreign trip.
"We are in regular contact with other authorities, in particular those in Germany," Fichter said.
Swiss police detained the man in connection with an investigation into how the German neo-Nazis came to be in possession of a weapon sold in Switzerland but said they had no evidence he was connected to extreme far-right circles.
