Television program Big Brother to go green

The yard at the house of popular television show Big Brother has been revamped with an ecological design based on raw materials that do not consume water, according to a release about the upcoming season.

Compared to previous seasons, which were largely based inside the home, the upcoming season will devote a lot of time to the synthetic green turf yard.

In addition to not requiring water for its maintenance, such a lawn will not need fertilizers and sprays for its upkeep, which often can pose hazards to local wildlife, the release said.
