Terrorists storm Kandahar police station, kill commander

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - Terrorists stormed a police station in Afghanistan's volatile southern Kandahar city on Wednesday killing the commander of the station and sparking an ongoing gun battle, Kandahar officials said.
Zalmay Ayoubi, spokesman for the provincial governor, said there had been police casualties, but had no more details.
The Kandahar government media office said on Twitter that the head of the police station had been killed in the attack.
