Tourism Ministry assisting tourists stranded in Israel

The Tourism Ministry on Sunday began to assist the thousands of tourists delayed in Israel due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland.
Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov called the mayors of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv early Sunday to discuss a plan to produce information booklets for the stranded tourists. The booklets will include information about services in each city, as well as entertainment venues and events taking place. They will be distributed at hotels in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
"The Tourism Ministry is working to assist tourists stranded in Israel, and remains at their service until they leave the country," Misezhnikov said in a statement released Sunday afternoon.
