'Tunisia is for everyone,' says victorious Islamist leader

TUNIS - The rights of women and people who are not religious will be protected in Tunisia, Islamist leader Rachid Ghannouchi said on Thursday after his party was declared winner of the first election after the Arab Spring uprisings.
"We will continue this revolution to realize its aims of a Tunisia that is free, independent, developing and prosperous in which the rights of God, the Prophet, women, men, the religious and the non-religious are assured because Tunisia is for everyone," Ghannouchi told a crowd of supporters.
