ISTANBUL - Turkish customs officialsintercepted four trucks on Tuesday suspected of carryingmilitary equipment from Iran to Syria, a Turkish provincialgovernor.
The governor of Kilis province said the trucks wereconfiscated at the Oncupinar border crossing into Syria afterpolice received information about their cargo, according toDogan news agency.
"The four trucks were confiscated by customs. They arealleged to be carrying military equipment," Governor YusufOdabas said. He said experts were being sent from Ankara toexamine the cargo.
