Turkey says it's abiding by UN sanctions against Iran

ANKARA, Turkey — Turkey on Monday said it is complying with UN sanctions against Iran, even though it voted against them.
However Turkey's energy minister said Monday that the sanctions are not affecting its oil and gas cooperation agreements with Iran.
Taner Yildiz spoke after Turkey hosted talks between Iran and six world powers aimed at persuading Iran to stop uranium enrichment collapsed on Saturday. Iran demanded an end to UN sanctions and an agreement on its right to enrich.
