Two brothers indicted for sexual offenses against nieces

Liat Levy of the Southern Prosecutor's Office filed two indictments against two brothers for committing sexual offenses, including rape and sodomy, against their nieces, in the Beersheba District Court on Monday.

The crimes were perpetrated continuously over a number of years since the nieces were little girls.

After each incident, the brothers would give their nieces money and candies and threaten them that they could not tell anyone because it was their special secret.

Some of the crimes committed happened so long ago that they cannot be prosecuted because too much time has passed according to the statute of limitations, but others can still be prosecuted.
