'Two people killed in Misrata shelling'

TUNIS - Two people were killed and 26 injured in shelling by forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi in the besieged city of Misrata on Tuesday, a rebel said.
"Two people were killed and 26 others were injured in mortar attacks on Misrata today," the rebel, called Nasser, told Reuters by phone.
"I was at the hospital and saw the dead and some of those injured," he added, saying a doctor at the hospital had also confirmed the numbers to him.
Pro-Gaddafi forces shelled Misrata much of Tuesday but later stopped, another rebel said earlier. He said the attacks were mainly around the port and the Tripoli Street area, near the center.
