LONDON - Britain does not rule outsupplying arms to Libyan rebels but has not taken a decision to
do so, Prime Minister David Cameron said on Wednesday."The arms embargo applies to the whole territory of Libya, but at the same time UN Security Council resolution 1973allows all necessary measures to protect civilians andcivilian-populated areas," Cameron told parliament.
"Our view is that this would not necessarily rule out theprovision of assistance to those protecting civilians in certaincircumstances."So...we do not rule it out but we have not taken thedecision to do so," Cameron said.
