UN General Assembly cancels planned Gaza flotilla session

The United Nations canceled a planned debate on the commando raid on the Mavi Marmara on Wednesday.
Ali Abdussalam Treki, president of the UN General Assembly, sent a letter to the members of the General Assembly to inform that them that the debate would not occur.
Malaysia had asked, with support from Iran and Syria, for an emergency session to be held by the UN General Assembly to discuss the May 31 commando raid.
