UN: Israel abducted Palestinian engineer in Ukraine

The United Nations refugee agency said that a Palestinian engineer who went missing in the Ukraine last month has been in Israeli custody since shortly after his disappearance, The Associated Press reported on Thursday.
Dirar Abu Sisi, 42, in Ukraine to apply for citizenship, boarded a train bound for Kiev on February 19 and disappeared.
A spokesman for the UN High Commisioner for Refugees in Ukraine said the agency believes he was abducted and illegaly transported by Israeli security forces, possibly with the help of Ukrainian agents.
