Venezuela hopes Lula could lead Libya peace talks

CARACAS - Venezuela hopes Brazil's former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva could head an international mediation commission to seek peace in Libya, a government source told Reuters.
The Venezuelan source said, however, the plans to include Lula in President Hugo Chavez's mediation proposal were at a very "preliminary" stage.
