Voting ends in Iran's parliamentary election

TEHRAN - Polling stations closed in Iran's parliamentary election on Friday after voting was extended to let more people vote, in a poll likely to be won by supporters of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
State radio said polling stations closed at 11 p.m. (1930 GMT), five hours after the scheduled closing time of 6 p.m. (1430 GMT). Such extensions are common in Iranian elections.
Officials said some polling stations would continue to let in those still waiting to cast their ballots.
