W. Bank: IDF officer, Palestinian lightly hurt in riot

An IDF officer was lightly wounded by a stone that hit him as some 250 Palestinians participated in a riot near Beit Ummar in between Gush Etzion and Hebron on Saturday night.
The rioters threw stones at the security forces and at Israeli vehicles, and hit an IDF officer on the head. The officer was treated at the scene before being evacuated to the hospital.
Palestinians tried to block the crews that evacuated the officer, and one was lightly injured in the leg by IDF fire.
The Red Crescent evacuated him to the hospital.
