Wallenberg Foundation to honor nanny from Mumbai attack

Sandra Samuel, the Indian nanny who risked her own life to save the toddler in her care during a terror attack on the Chabad House in Mumbai, is to be honored for her bravery by the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation.
Samuel captured worldwide attention when she rescued two-year-old Moshe Holtzberg during the Nov. 26, 2009 attack. The boy’s parents, Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg, were killed in the attack. Samuel was granted honorary Israeli citizenship and moved here in order to continue caring for Moshe.
Moshe, together with his grandparents, will light one of the torches at the official Independence Day ceremony in Jerusalem on Monday night.
