WikiLeaks: Bush warned of Iran threat before Israel trip

The latest US government cable released by WikiLeaks revealed Sunday that former President George W. Bush was warned of the "looming threat of a nuclear-armed Iran" in preparation for a visit to Israel.

The cable went on to say that issue of Iranian leaders who constantly declare their determination to wipe Israel off the map, "weighs heavily on the minds of Israelis, who regard their country not only through the prism of the Holocaust but also as the only UN member-state to be routinely threatened with annihilation."
