Yacimovich welcomes FM Liberman's decision to resign

Labor leader Shelly Yacimovich on Friday hailed Avigdor Liberman's decision to resign from his post as foreign minister, saying "he who is indicted cannot serve even one day as a public emissary."
Yacimovich said that the indictment to be brought against Liberman "would severely undermine the rule of law and the public's trust in its elected leadership and democracy."
Earlier Thursday, the Labor leader said she would not sit in any government in which anyone under indictment serves, and called on the heads of all political parties to boycott any such potential entity.
