Yechimovich: PM ingenious at creating unjust taxes

Labor leader Shelly Yechimovich on Wednesday blasted Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's economic plan as unjust.

She called Netanyahu uniquely and ingeniously creative at finding new ways to impose a greater tax burden on the poor and the middle class.

Yechimovich said that the tax falls hard on those making between NIS 9,000-42,000 per month, those who she called the creative backbone of the economy.

The labor leader said that the prime minister's argument that he is raising taxes on the rich is a red herring. She said that the mechanism for the tax is so burdensome and complex, that it will take years and large state resources which don't exist to calculate and collect the tax.

Essentially, Yechimovich stated that the tax would never be collected from the rich and that this had been Netanyahu's intention from the start.
