Yechimovich: PM using Iran to distract from social justice

Labor head Shelly Yechimovich on Wednesday attacked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for using the Iranian threat to distract the Israeli public from domestic issues such as social justice.

"The public is too intelligent for this," she told Army Radio, calling Netanyahu's economic policy "extreme capitalist that doesn't exist anywhere else in the world."

Yechimovich also came out against adding money to the defense budget. "We have the money. We can pay for defense and also for strengthening society," she said.
